The CoreReader documentation is in three books.

Book 1:
The first book is the basic system documentation. It is in a page on the web site and it is also located inside CoreReader for help.

The point-and-click character of CoreReader allows a beginner to benefit from the system without mastering any documentation. The section on connecting to data sources is probably necessary, but the other sections can wait until the beginner wants them.

Book 2:
The second book addresses advanced CoreReader topics. It is intended primarily for system administrators and managers. It cannot be understood until the first one is understood.

Book 3:
The third book is a highly technical coverage of CoreReader's internal datasource server which is known as a data gateway. Designed for developers, system administrators, and evaluating managers, others may want to avoid its dense technical thrust. It should be read only after the first two.
